One of my families favorite meals are my BBQ meatballs. They are moist and scrumptious and can be under the slider category. I also do make them with marinara sauce and those are yummy too. These meatballs are simple and pretty easy to make.
Grab a pound or so of ground beef and put into a bowl.
Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. If you have adobo, even better.
Add a cup of original Quaker Oats. (You can use breadcrumbs but I prefer oats).
Next add one egg and 1/2 cup of milk.
Place BBQ of choice into pan on medium heat.
Now with an ice cream scoop or large spoon, scoop out the ground beef mixture…
and start to place them onto the heated pan.
Once the one side has cooked through, go ahead and flip the meatballs over.
Then I turn them on their sides to make sure they are cooked all around.
When you feel they are close to be done, add shredded cheese to each meatball. Let the cheese melt and then remove from the pan onto a plate.
While they cool a bit…
Grab the bread to serve them on. I buy Hawaiian Bread because we love it and the sweet taste of the bread with the BBQ is simply delish!! Reminds us of the summer in this chilly weather.
